Hey all!
Well, this is it! My last night in the United Kingdom for three solid weeks. To tell you the truth, I'm a little nervous, but also very excited. It's beginning to sink in, at last!
I went out with my Dad this evening, because he can't come and wave me off tomorrow. When I left him and my brother, I think that was when it sunk in, and all my flight fears came swarming over me...
I know one of my friends has been praying for me; that I'll have a safe flight, which has really helped <3 Even so, I can't help but be a little nervous. Old fears never truly die, I guess.
But anyway, I wanna keep this as light as possible! ^^
I leave tomorrow at 3PM from the school, drive all the way to Heathrow, wait for three hours, then finally leave at 9PM for Nairobi.
We arrive in Nairobi at 8AM their time (GMT+2), where we immediately make tracks for Mount Kilimanjaro, where we camp the night at the base! I'm really looking forward to that!
I probably won't be able to update this blog whilst on safari (no Wi-Fi), but I will most certainly be updating in the last 2 weeks of the trip, so keep an eye out!
Well, that's it from me for now!
See you guys soon!

A Packed Case and a Happy Face
Hey guys!
Well, it's finally upon us: in 5 days time, I scoot off to Kenya for 3 wonderful weeks. I've finally managed to squeeze everything in my suitcase, and have got my hand-luggage down to a reasonable weight.
Lauren and I went out this weekend to buy the last couple of things for the trip. I bought myself 3 lovely journals, just so I can keep a record of all the days when I don't have access to this blog.
That's a point! I'll be updating this blog whilst in Kenya, though I won't be able to reach it every night. I'll most likely type up my written entries when I get home, and post them all in one big entry here. Just to spam you all.
Sorry for the "short 'n' snappy" post, but I don't have much to say this time around (which is odd. Usually, I never shut up...).
Hope you're all well!
Take care,
~ Kichai x
